As of my last update in September 2021, both the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) are social security schemes in India that provide financial protection and benefits to employees.
1. FC-6 Form: The return is filed online by the registered organization in the prescribed FC-6 form. This form captures various details of the organization’s financial transactions related to foreign contributions.
2. Receipt of Foreign Contributions: The organization is required to provide details of all foreign contributions received during the reporting period. This includes information about the donor, the country from which the contribution was received, the purpose of the contribution, and the amount received in foreign currency.
3. Utilization of Foreign Contributions: The organization must disclose the utilization of foreign contributions during the reporting period. This includes specifying the projects or activities for which the funds were used, the amount utilized in Indian rupees, and the balance remaining (if any).
4. Bank Account Details: The organization must provide details of the designated bank account(s) used for receiving and utilizing foreign contributions. This includes the bank name, branch, and account number.
5. Annual Report and Audited Accounts: The FCRA return requires the organization to submit a copy of its annual report and audited financial statements for the reporting period.
6. Foreign Contribution in Kind: If the organization has received foreign contributions in the form of goods or services, those details need to be provided in the return.
